PFM introduce ANPR system to our range
After a number of enquiries from our existing clients, PFM have now introduced our own ANPR system. The system can be used for car park management purposes or to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns via detailed analysis of the supplied data. The reporting element of the new system is delivered via PFM Advantage in the same way our standard people and vehicle counting systems so that the client has a seamless interface for all supplied data.
The PFM ANPR system is an advanced system that not only identifies registration plates but also recognises their country of origin. This is very useful for shopping centres, factory outlet centres and retail parks who need to know where their customers are coming from to maximise the effectiveness of marketing campaigns during national holiday periods.
The hardware is the most up-to-date available and uses a stereo combination of infra-red and optical cameras to maintain system accuracy in extreme environmental conditions such as direct sunlight and suring the hours of darkness when vehicle headlights can blind other ANPR systems.

PFM Installation at Westfield Stratford nearing completion
Installation of the PFM people counting system at the Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre is nearing completion. When the system comes online, it will enhance PFM’s increasing reputation for delivery of cost effective, accurate and consistent data to our clients. Westfield Stratford will be a very welcome addition to PFM’s growing portfolio of Mega Malls such as Westfield White City, Bluewater and the Centre MK.

PFM introduce exciting new product
PFM is pleased to announce the introduction of an exciting new product to compliment our ever growing product range. We can now supply a battery operated, fully automatic counting system which will record data in date and time format for external open spaces such as country parks and playgrounds. Until now, it has only been possible to install basic equipment at this type of location which required an excessive amount of manual intervention to record the data and ensure that the system was operating correctly. With PFM’s new system the data is sent using RF modules which can work effectively up to a distance of 5km from the base station. All collected data is audited and reported via our web based PFM Advantage software ensuring that any system issues are dealt with by PFM and that there is no need for client intervention in the whole process
